Navy SEAL Master Chief Jason Gardner

Navy SEAL Master Chief Jason Gardner joined The Weight Room on episodes 19 and later on episode 114. He was one of the first guests on The Weight Room and I was honestly shocked when he reached back out to me after I had messaged him on Instagram. At the time, I was listening to him on an episode of Jocko Willink's podcast and thought he was an extremely interesting and thoughtful person so I took the chance and messaged him. After he agreed to come on, I was a little nervous knowing this guy is legit. He has real world experience and faced real challenges so I knew I had to prepare for the interview.

Our initial podcast together he talked a lot about his experience in the Navy and as a Navy SEAL, we talked about the training, and covered his personal life mostly. It was a wonderful conversation that left me with a sense that I wanted to have more and more conversations just like it.

The second time Jason Gardner joined we talked about fasting and the role it had played in his life to help him lose some weight and get in better shape while he was a Navy SEAL. He shared his experience and what he had learned through the process and it was a great chat again this time more in depth on a specific topic related to diet and nutrition.

Following Jason Gardner on Instagram the past 3 years has been very inspirational and eye opening. He leads what may seem a simple life where he connects himself to nature, animals, his family, and his fellow human. He keeps an open perspective on life and has certain principles that he sticks too. He is a great man and I highly recommend checking out our podcast episodes and following him on social media!
